On the morning of March 11th, a delegation from the University ofWest Georgia, headed by Ms. Nihal Gunay, dean of the School ofDistance Education, and Salil Talpade, chair of the Marketing andReal Estate Department, visited SIFT. Wei Nongjian, dean of SIFTBusiness Administration School, Long Jiang, deputy director of theAcademic Affairs Office and Xi Hongmei, chair of the MarketingDepartment met with the delegation.
The two sides had a discussion about a cooperative model oftraining undergraduates and postgraduates, programs of academicexchanges between faculties and issues related to distanceeducation. Initial agreement was reached. After that, DuanMingming, associate professor of Business Administration School,gave a lecture on Managerial Culture and Practice in China tostudents from the University of West Georgia.
